Safeway offers teen driver's education  in cooperation with St. Louis Park Community Education

Class Schedule:

After-school in-person classes are held during the school year on Mon - Thu from 3:30 - 6:30 pm.
After-school distance learning classes are held during the school year on Mon - Thu from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.

Summer in-person classes are held on Mon - Fri from 9:00 - 12:00 pm or 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

Class Location:

In Summer, In Person classes are offered at St. Louis Park Middle School : Room LMC1 - Media Center classroom

When school is in session, In Person classes are offered at St. Louis Park High School: Rm B135 

Registration:

Registration and payment is made through St. Louis Park Community Education.  To register for classes, click the green Sign Up button on the appropriate time and start date in the calendar below or call St. Louis Park Community Education at 952-928-6399.

Information:

For Distance Learning classes, State rules require each student to have an audio and video connection to the class.  Accordingly, students must attend the teleconference classes on a laptop, tablet or desktop computer with a web camera and microphone.  Cell phones are not appropriate devices for participating in class. 

Please Note.  Printing will be required for this class. In-class handouts (quizzes, worksheets) and the MN Driver's Manual will be emailed as pdf documents prior to class.  The handouts should be printed and available to the student for use during class.  The manual should also be printed and available during class.  The manual can be printed single-sided, two-on-a-page requiring 52 pages or double-sided, two-on-a-page requiring 26 pages.
Hard copies of the handouts and MN Driver's Manual are also available to registered students through the community education office prior to the start date.
